Since retiring from a fulfilling four-decade career in healthcare, I now have the opportunity to apply that energy into designing artistic pieces.
I will attempt to provide the inspiration for each new piece of work. Inspiration may come from what I see, hear, or feel. The development of an idea at times benefits from periods of meaningful reflection.
I have learned different skills to enable me to bring my ideas to fruition. These skills include more traditional woodworking techniques combined with computer-controlled equipment. I also incorporate a range of materials in my pieces including wood, glass and metal.
